Anchors is for boys aged 5 to 8 years old and where many begin their BB adventure with games, craft, stories and more.
Our Anchors meet every Monday during term time from 18:15 til 19:30, taking part in a programme that is built around six areas; Get Active, Get Adventurous, Get Creative, Get into the Bible, Get Involved and Get Learning. The focus is about having fun and gaining experiences relevant to their age group.
Anchors are recognised for their participation in activities by of badges through their time in the group.
Our Uniform
We have our own distinct uniform consisting of red sweatshirt and a blue polo shirt. This is paired with dark trousers (school trousers are fine) and black shoes. We encourage all the boys to wear the uniform once they are settled in the section. Once a boy has been coming for a few weeks a leader will discuss with you the options for buying new or our good used uniform that we have available.
The Cost
We have a termly subscription model of £25 per term, which equates to around £2 per week. We would not want any boy to miss out due to cost, so if there are difficulties please speak to one of the leaders in confidence.
How to join?
The easiest way is to come along one Monday evening to meet us. However, we’d love to know you are coming so we can ensure we are aware and that his first evening can be seemless. We’d you to come along on an evening when we are offsite. Use our enquiry form, send us an email or give us a call.
